Advancing Mindfulness Research Through Data Sharing and Collaboration
Join us in shaping the future of mindfulness research
About Us
The Mindfulness Consortium is a global network of researchers dedicated to accelerating the science of mindfulness-based interventions through collaborative use of existing data. We connect researchers across countries, disciplines, and career stages to advance knowledge through shared resources and collective insight.
Across hundreds of trials conducted over the past decades, large volumes of data on mindfulness-based interventions already exist. Some datasets have been fully analysed and published. Many others remain partially used or unexplored.
Do you have untapped data that could be used to advance mindfulness research, or a great idea that just needs the right data to test it? The Mindfulness Consortium provides a platform where researchers can:
Apply new methods (e.g., machine learning or network analysis) to existing datasets;
Explore new hypotheses beyond the original study aims;
- Pool similar datasets to increase sample sizes and statistical power;
Establish collaborations that support publication or grant applications through secondary data use;
Maximise the impact of underused or unpublished data through ethical data sharing.
We are joining forces to advance the understanding of secular and traditional mindfulness practices by generating new insights into the effects, mechanisms, and individual variability in mindfulness-based interventions.
